A dog's sense of humor

Imagine the horror on John's face when he thought he was going to have to call a parent and explain,

    "Well, it seems Brady was testing the old If I lick a metal pole in the middle of the winter will my tongue stick?, theory.  Thankfully it was wood, and his tongue didn't stick, but I did have to tell him he to stop licking frozen surfaces!"
